Youth culture
It’s essential that our industry continues to attract young people to ensure we stay relevant in a rapidly changing world. There are exciting career options for talented people across disciplines, from innovation and R&D through to marketing and communications.

Leading by example 
I believe leadership is honed and demonstrated across the multitude of interactions we have each day. Feeling empowered to be my authentic self at work is important; it makes me a better leader and gives me the confidence that I’m contributing to building a better culture. 

Being clinical 
My clinical experience on the frontlines offers a unique perspective. Having that first-hand experience of how prescribers approach a clinical problem can enhance strategic insights and help the team respond more effectively to our client’s communication challenges. 

For instance, I was a key co-author on our white paper Healing the Healers that highlighted the implications of staggering levels of burnout and mental ill health amongst healthcare professionals along with more effective ways to better engage with them and help them in their work lives.

New faces 
When it comes to providing opportunities for young people to thrive, I think Havas Lynx is inspirational. As a business it is focused on embracing talent.

And, when it comes to future leaders it provides access to a six-month programme to senior leaders who want to progress into leadership roles. It helps to strengthen and put into practice leadership capabilities and is why many of our leadership team started here in junior roles.

Wider perspective 
It is essential our industry includes as many diverse perspectives as possible. In my experience, ambitious young people offer a valuable source of enthusiasm and optimism. They constantly look to stretch what’s possible and are never satisfied with the status quo.  

Future holds
I’m excited to continue working with our clients to demand consumer-level, emotion-driven experiences for our audiences.

I’m looking forward to developing our business offering, improving organisational effectiveness, and creating an environment where all employees can be their authentic selves, have fun and gain amazing opportunities, all in the pursuit of delivering impact that matters.
